Under normal circumstances, the position "Trustee" does not elicit an image of a middle-aged, woman motorcyclist climbing Gray's Peak while battling cancer. Susan Perrin Rooke, this year's commencement speaker, hasn't settled for "normal."

The Geneva College Jazz Band packed Old Main Saturday night with its tenth annual concert, held at 8 p.m. in the John H. White Chapel. Titled "In the Mood X: Big Band Music Returns," the performance was directed by Music Department Chair Donald B. Kephart.

Geneva women's softball returned to action Saturday at Koppel Field to face off against Notre Dame College. Going into the doubleheader Geneva was in first place in the AMC North, but they ended the afternoon in second. Geneva dropped game one 3-2 but responded with a 12-2 victory in game two.
